The Governments of Dominica, Grenada and St. Lucia have received financing from the World Bank for an E-Government for Regional Integration Project (EGRIP). The Project will be implemented by the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Secretariat, Regional E-Government Unit (REGU). In this regard, the OECS is now recruiting applications for the following positions in the REGU: (i) Procurement Specialist and (ii) three Country-Based Technical Specialists for Dominica, Grenada and St. Lucia respectively.

The overall development objective of the project is to promote the efficiency, quality, and transparency of public services in the beneficiary countries, through the delivery of regionally integrated e-government applications that take advantage of economies of scale.

The Project is structured in two phases and will run over a four-year period. Phase 1 focuses on cross-sectoral e-government issues and on specific applications in the public finance area (including Public Financial Management or PFM, tax, customs and procurement), and an e-government in health pilot project. Phase 2 is expected to deepen the assistance provided under Phase 1, while expanding the program to cover other sectors, in particular, tourism, agriculture, health and education, among others that may emerge during the early stages of implementation of Phase 1.

The OECS Secretariat now invites eligible persons to submit applications as detailed in the Vacancy notices posted on the OECS website. Applicants must clearly indicate the position(s), provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services and submit their curricula vitae.

Consultants will be selected in accordance with the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (current edition). Interested individual consultants may obtain further information, during office hours 0830 to 1630 Eastern Caribbean time or by visiting the following links below.
