The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis is pleased to host the Caribbean Telecommunication Union’s Caribbean ICT Roadshow which has been developed to raise awareness within the public sector, the private sector, civil society and academia, of the innovative approaches possible and necessary for the effective use of ICT in government, business and social development.
The CTU is working collaboratively with its members, partners and other interested organizations and institutions to deliver a programme designed especially for St. Kitts and Nevis to educate and demonstrate the transformative power of ICT innovation.
The St. Kitts and Nevis Programme for the ICT Roadshow is designed to foster a spirit of innovation in the development of ICT-based practical solutions, to raise awareness and to encourage harmonization of efforts in the adoption of ICT solutions for inclusive economic and social development.
The theme, Harnessing the Power of Innovation - the engine for ICT-enabled Caribbean development, is reflective of the objectives the Roadshow aspires to achieve, namely
- To foster innovation in the application of ICT to Caribbean challenges in government, the private sector and civil society
- To build regional awareness among the public sector, the private sector and civil society of the innovative and effective use of ICTs in every aspect of Caribbean
- To accelerate the effective use of ICT by regional governments in the delivery of public services and transparent governance
- To encourage greater regional collaboration in the development of regional ICT solutions through the presentation of Caribbean and international ICT best practices.
- To promote the work, role and programmes of the CTU as a resource to the region

The St. Kitts and Nevis ICT Roadshow will feature the CTU’s 5th Caribbean Internet Governance Forum which will be held in association with the Roadshow’s activities. The internet Society (ISOC) is the co-convener of the 5th Caribbean Internet Governance Forum.
