Notice of Events

The 21^st Executive Council Meeting (EC21) and the 12^th General Conference of Ministers (GC12) will be convened as follows:

• Theme

The Meetings will focus on the work of the CTU’s policy initiatives and will seek to develop a framework for consistent implementation.  The Theme for the Meetings is:  A Commitment to Action. The Provisional Agenda is attached.

• Venue

These meetings and activities will be held at the Sunset Shores Hotel in St. Vincent

• Documents

Documents for the statutory meetings will be posted on the members’ portal at www.ctu.int commencing 3^rd May, 2010. Members will be required to download the documents for the meeting. Please ensure that you are able to access the portal.

• Country Reports

Sharing experiences on the current status of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in member states is beneficial to members so we invite five members to deliver a 15 minute Country Report at the statutory meetings. The five presentations will be scheduled on the basis of early notification of the intent to participate in this session.

• Election of Officials

There will be elections of officials for the positions of President and Vice President of the General Conference of Ministers and Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Executive Council.
